Get started in five minutes.
Your AgentMeter account is a key that lives on your computer: you sign reports with it and nobody, not even us, can forge them. That's why it's created from the terminal. We'll walk you through it.
-
Check you have Node and git
You need Node.js 18 or newer and git. If you don't have them, download them from nodejs.org and git-scm.com. To check, open a terminal (cmd or PowerShell on Windows, Terminal on Mac) and type:
node -v git --version -
Install AgentMeter
It downloads straight from our server. To update later, run the same command.
npm install -g https://agentmeter.si/cli/agentmeter.tgz -
Run the wizard
It finds your projects with coding agents, asks which client each one is for and how you bill, and creates your key and your account. Enter accepts the suggested option.
agentmeter setupWere you invited? Use
agentmeter setup --ref CODEand get 30 days of Pro instead of 14. -
Confirm your email
You get a 6-digit code. Type it in the same terminal and you're done: your account is active with 14 days of free Pro, no card.
-
Generate your first report
It opens in your browser. If you want your client to approve it and tell you when they pay, publish it on a portal.
agentmeter report --open agentmeter publish report.html --to [email protected]
Your account on the web. Whenever you want to see your portals, payment notices and plan, sign in at agentmeter.si/account with your email, or run agentmeter panel to go straight in.
