Terms of service

Effective October 10, 2026

These are the rules for using AgentMeter. We wrote them to be understood; if anything is unclear, email us before accepting them.

1. Acceptance

By installing the CLI, creating an account, publishing a portal or paying for a plan, you accept these terms, the privacy policy and the CLI license. If you use AgentMeter on behalf of a company, you confirm you can accept them for it. You must be 18 or older.

2. What AgentMeter is

AgentMeter is a tool that builds delivery reports on your machine from your sessions with coding agents, your commits and your tests; signs them with your key; and, with your account, timestamps them in a public log and lets you publish them on a portal where your client can review them, approve them and let you know they paid.

3. What AgentMeter certifies and what it doesn't

A verified report guarantees two things: that it was not modified after you signed it and, if timestamped, that it existed on the timestamp date. AgentMeter does not certify that the work described is correct, complete or of good quality, nor that the source data is true. AI cost figures are estimates based on public prices and may differ from what your provider charges you. You are responsible for what you deliver and invoice to your clients.

4. Your account and your key

Your account is tied to a private key stored only on your machine. You are responsible for protecting and backing it up: if you lose it without a backup, we cannot recover it. If you suspect someone got it, let us know right away. Your account details must be true; you may not impersonate another person or company.

5. Plans, trial and payments

6. Refunds

If you're not happy with your first payment for a plan, ask for a refund within 14 days and we'll return the full amount. Later renewals are not refundable, unless applicable law says otherwise or an error on our side kept you from using the service.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use AgentMeter to:

If you find a vulnerability, report it to [email protected]. We won't take action against good-faith research that tells us first.

8. Your content

Your reports and the data in them are yours. You allow us to store them, show them to whoever has the portal link and process them only as needed to provide the service. You confirm you have the right to share with your client what you publish. You can delete a portal whenever you want with agentmeter shares delete.

9. Public log

By timestamping a report you accept that its fingerprint, your issuer fingerprint, your signature and the date are published permanently in the public log. Those entries don't contain the report and cannot be deleted without breaking verification of the rest.

10. Availability and changes

We do our best to keep the service always available, but we don't guarantee it will work without interruptions or errors. Reports already generated can be verified without our server. We may improve, change or remove features; if we remove an important paid feature, we will let you know in advance.

11. No warranties

The service and the CLI are provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we give no implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, AgentMeter is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or loss of data, clients or business. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused it.

13. Suspension and closure

You can stop using AgentMeter and ask us to delete your account whenever you want. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, especially in cases of fraud or abuse, notifying you when possible. Entries already timestamped in the public log remain.

14. Intellectual property

The AgentMeter name, brand, website, server and CLI belong to their owner. Use of the CLI is governed by its license. The coding agent trademarks we mention belong to their owners and are used only to indicate compatibility.

15. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update the date above. If the change is significant, we will email you at least 15 days before. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new version.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Plurinational State of Bolivia. For any disagreement, we will first try to resolve it in good faith by email; if that's not possible, it will be submitted to the competent courts of the city of La Paz, unless a consumer protection law in your country lets you file a claim there.
